When you come from Jaffna you understand how great murunga is, you can cook it in many ways, you can fry it, and you can make it into a curry! So this week, JB took the time and peddled his way to the Wellawatta Market to buy some. 

Seems like it’s a bit too expensive in Colombo, and in Wellawatta as everyone is using Canada dollars no one is even bargaining so things are double the price! JB remembers a time when he used to pluck it off his window in his house in Jaffna for meals, but here in Wellawatta, Aunty Perly's house has only easy to cook meals, like sausages and etc so life seems to be hard for JB - and the garden has space only for the dog Mike. 

JB has already planned on how he is going to take this plant to Canada, he has planted a branch now in a pot and hopes to transport it all the way there but until then he has to make himself happy.
