Young Venuka Wickramarachchi who made headlines with his maiden mission as the costume designer in Prof. Sunil Ariyaratne’s ‘Kusa Paba’, will launch his official website on June 30 at 7 pm at the Mount Breeze Hotel in Mount Lavinia. The launch will also coincide with Venuka’s birthday.

Venuka Yasassri Wickramaarachchi was born in Colombo in 1986. Following his primary education at Somaweera Chandrasiri Junior school in Piliyandala, he later joined Thurstan College Colombo where he studied up to G.C.E (O/L). Then he joined Ananda College, Colombo for his ALs in the Bio Science stream.

However, fate and destiny had pre-designed something different for him.

His passion for creativity and talents in fashion designing, made him  successfully complete a Textile Technology & Management Diploma at Brandix College of Clothing Technology & Management. Based on the success of his diploma, he continued his studies at the same institute to be graduated with a Degree of Applied Science in Textile Technology from RMIT Australia. Later, he followed a Diploma in Fashion Designing at the Lanka Institute of Fashion Technology.
