Feng Shui is a wonderful tool for freeing up the energy in your life so things will flow more smoothly. Having all the wealth in the world does not give you complete happiness although money is an important aspect ion one’s life, especially when happiness goes out through the window.

Happiness is a feeling which one can experience and the feeling of being happy cannot be expressed in words but can be noticed on the persons face, body language and state of mind. Each of us have a different level of happiness and satisfaction, hence it’s a very personalized feeling and cannot be quantified.

However difficult it could be to solve all romantic woes, through the science of Feng Shui we can create happy and positive environments for love to grow. Locate the Southwest portion of your home and Clear your clutter. Keep clutter out of the Master Bedroom as well as the Southwest part of the home in order to keep the energies of love and romance flowing freely.

 

Activate Southwest of your garden or living room with earth energy - One of the easiest ways to bring stone into this area is by adding a pair regular stones, items made from earth like ceramic, pottery, cement, quartz, granite, etc. Statuary and figurines made of earth are nice too. Bind them together with a red ribbon to “Fire up” your love and relationship aspirations.

 

Bring in the colors of passion - Shades of red, pink, and deep purples promote feelings of passion. You can choose accents like pillows, drapes, throws, flowers or artwork to bring these colors into a room, or be really bold and paint a whole wall that color!

 

Let go of the past (literally!) - Remove anything in your home that reminds you of past or failed relationships.  This especially applies to old beds and mattresses!

 

Check your bed - In Feng Shui, a bed with a significant headboard, and no holes or slots in the headboard is preferable. Never choose a metal bed as  It can hamper sleep and certainly a cold, metallic headboard does not feel as cozy and spoils prospects of a good relationship luck.

 

Check your artifacts - Avoid putting items in threes as the subliminal message is that there should be three people in the relationship instead of two; something most people definitely don’t want in a relationship!. Hence pay attention to the interpretation of numbers in Feng Shui.

 

Your Personal Space - If you have small children living along with you in the family, make sure to create a “Kid-Free Zone”.  These are areas such as the Master bedroom where children’s toys, pictures, and other items should not be stored till you achieve your marriage aspirations and find a suitable partner. 

 

Once you have worked on the “outer Feng Shui” it would be important to work on your “Inner Feng Shui”   by clearing your thoughts, relaxing your mind to enable you to decide, develop a feel of caring and showering love for others and most importantly the thought of sharing things as marriage means union of two hearts and minds.
