Udara Palliyaguruge’s maiden cinemantic venture ‘Super Six’ will be screened in the EAP circuit including Liberty Kollupitiya from Thursday, May 17.

With a star studded cast that includes Roshan Ranawana and Sanath Gunathilake and debuts by former Miss Sri Lanka Aruni Rajapakse, Director Udaya Palliyaguruge’s Super Six is a film that combines the influences of romance, comedy, action and fantasy. It is also the country’s largest commercial budgeted movie standing at a production cost of Rs 99 million with a totally Sri Lankan cast of over 600 artistes, which includes 160 in supporting roles, 80 technical and a host of extras. The movie is produced by R. Sadesh Kumar.

The film has been shot in both Sri Lanka and Malaysia using technical resources from India as well. This is also the first time that an ARRI 435 camera was used with Kodak Vision 3 Film, which signals superior film quality. The cast members include Roshan Ranawana,

Sanath Gunathilake, Aruni Rajapakse, Mahendra Perera, Rodney Warnakula, Priyantha Senevirathne, Paboda Sandeepani, Saranga Disasekara, Malika Sirisenage, Suneth Chithrananda, Gaminda Priyaviraj and several others.

Ruwan Costa has handled the camera, Anura Ekanayake has written the screenplay, Manjula Ayagama the art direction, Ajith Ramanayake and Anthony of India the editing, Ashoka Ariyaratne the production management, Indika Udara Lanka the make up while Donald Jayantha ahs assisted in the direction.

Mahesh Denipitiya has directed the music.
