Veteran actor and filmmaker Sanath Gunathilake's movie "Ekamath Eka Rateka " (Once upon a time) will be screened at the 28th International Love Film Festival in Mons, Belgium this week. It is the first time that a Sri Lankan movie has been selected for screening at this event. Sanath Gunathilake will therefore be the first Sri Lankan director to participate in this beautiful event as a distinguished guest. 

 

 

Mr. Gunathilake said he was pleased to participate at the International Mons Film Festival which is held from February 24 to March 2.

 

The festival has built up a cultural identity by highlighting rare, committed and controversial works from every part of the world.

 

Around the theme of ‘love’ expressed in all its forms on the screen, the international competition pays tributes to remarkable personalities of the film industry; the exhibitions and the multi-cultural parties give the festival its specific character.
