Sri Lankan screen queen and Parliamentarian Malani Fonseka will add another prestigious feather to her cap when she participates as a member of the jury at the 43^rd International Film Festival of India coming up in November.

The esteemed annual event is organized by the IFFI Secretariat for Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Goa and the India Film Industry.

The theme of the festival this year is ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ i.e. ‘The Whole World is One Family’.

The festival aims at ‘providing a common platform for the cinematography of the world to project the excellence of film art; contributing to the understanding and appreciation of film cultures of different nations in context to their social and cultural ethos; and promoting friendship and co-operation among people of the world’.
