Veteran dramatist Namel Weeramuni’s stage play ‘Madhyawediyekuge Asipatha’ will be staged at the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre in Borella on November 17 at 6.45 pm.

The play is written, directed and produced by Namel Weeramuni.

“Madhyawediyakuge Asipatha is a powerful play featuring Lalindra Dissanayake, Anil.K.Wijesignhe Dulanjali Wijesena, Namel Weeramuni, Upul Snjeewa, Senevirathne Bandara, Pinsara Samarasekera, Ishara Wickramasignhe, Darsana Obeysekera, Lakshman Udaya Kumara, Dilini Prasadini, Turulika Gimhani, Damith Wilegoda, Buddhika Prematilaka, Sangeeth Perera and Jayashan Rajitha.

Music is composed and directed by Visharada Jayatissa Alahakoon for the lyrics written by Namel. Somasiri Beddegama supports with a few others in the orchestra. Choreography is by Dr. Wasantha Kumara Dep
