Veteran tele drama maker and scriptwriter Lakshman Pushpakumara is one of the most sought after personalities in the tele scene today.

Having penned and directed a large number of popular tele serials, Lakshman is busy with his future tele projects now.

Lakshman’s involvement is seen in most tele dramas that are being telecast on various channels now.

His Hiru Dahasak Yata – scripted and directed by him - which was telecast on Derana at 8.30 pm was a hit among the small screen audiences. It ended last week, and the new replacement ‘Pipena Mal’ is also based on a script by Lakshman. 

Tharu Piri Ahasa on ITN and Sandata Ahasa Adarei on Rupavahini are also based on his scripts. Ithin Eeta Passe which is being re-telecast on ITN now and Ahasa Se Numba Ananthai are among the other tele dramas scripted by him.

Lakshman’s latest tele serial ‘Muthu Warusa’ is due to be telecast on ITN from next month.
