Prof. Sunil Ariyaratne's 'Kusa Paba' which is now running to packed houses, shattered an all-time record last Thursday. It has broken other revenue records too.

It has shattered all revenue records of any film (Sinhala, Hindi, Tamil or English) by emerging as the highest grossing film in Sri Lanka. The previous record was set by Jackson Anthony's 'Aba' which grossed 172.9 million rupees in 105 days. But Kusa Paba surpassed this amount on its 91^st day last Thursday.

Kusa Paba also shattered the one-day revenue record held by Somaratne Dissanayake's 'Bindu' and one-week record held by 'Aba'.

The film scripted by the late Tissa Abeysekara was produced by the Film Makers Guild while the co-producers were Dhammika Siriwardana and Renuka Balasuriya. The executive producer was Somaratne Dissanayake.

Jackson Anthony, Pooja Umashanker, Chandani Seneviratne, Ravindra Randeniya, Kusum Renu, Roshan Ranawana and others play the key roles in Kusa Paba.
