Prof. Sunil Ariyaratne's 'Kusa Paba' which has created history by shattering all revenue records in the Sinhala cinema, recently topped the Rs. 200 million mark, making it the first film to have grossed the highest revenue in the 65-year Sinhala cienma industry.

1, 587, 299 patrons had watched the movie that was released in the EAP circuit on January 26, 2012 in 54 cinema halls. The film also created the highest one-day and two-day revenue records.

The film scripted by the late Tissa Abeysekara was produced by the Film Makers Guild while the co-producers were Dhammika Siriwardana and Renuka Balasuriya. The executive producer was Somaratne Dissanayake.

Jackson Anthony, Pooja Umashanker, Chandani Seneviratne, Ravindra Randeniya, Kusum Renu, Roshan Ranawana and others play the key roles in Kusa Paba.
