Kermit and Miss Piggy along side human co-stars Jason Segel and Amy Adams took to the green carpet for the world premiere of "The Muppets" last Saturday.

 

Fans of the Muppets have waited since 1999 to see the Muppets again on the big screen. In this latest Muppet installment, viewers are introduced to new Muppet, Walter, who convinces his brother Gary, played by Jason Segel, and his girlfriend, played by Amy Adams, to go to Los Angeles for a vacation and to see the Muppets Studio. 

 

Upon arrival, they find out an oil tycoon plans to tear the studio down to get to the oil found in the soil underneath the building. Complete with its usual hijinks, Kermit works to get the old gang back together for a telethon to raise $10 million needed to save the rundown Muppets Studio.

 

Disney's "The Muppets" opens nationwide November 23, 2011.
