Prasanna Jayakody’s latest movie ‘Karma’ will be screened in the CEL circuit from October 12.

The film featuring Micelle Herft, Jagath Manuwarna and Nadeeka Guruge has been produced by Ceylon Theatres (Pvt) Ltd., Sky Entertainers (Pvt.) Ltd and Magic Lantern (Pvt.) Ltd.

Paltha Perera has handled the camera, Nadeeka Guruge and Sumudu Guruge the music, Sunil Wijeratne the art direction, Narada Thotagamuwa the make up, Rangana Sinharage, Bhathiya Dunusinghe and Sudesh Kumarasinghe the editing while Asoka Athaudahetti has assisted in the direction.

The story centres on Piyal, troubled by feelings of guilt over his mother’s death. He attempts to relieve himself of related, repressed tensions, through a woman (Amanda) living in a house adjacent to his apartment.
