The actor starred alongside Robert Downey Jr. in the first two movies, playing the detective's sidekick Dr. John Watson, and he says they're both keen for a third film although doesn't know when it will happen.

He told Collider.com: "No I don't know when we're going to start shooting. I mean there's certainly talk of it and I know there's a script being played around with, but Downey's a busy boy and I'm a busy boy so we'll see. But we want to [do another one]. We're a very happy team and we have a lot of fun and we also think there's still a lot of legs in the duo."

Jude recently revealed he changed his style when he grew a moustache for his role as Watson.

He said: "My style changes with roles. Having a moustache and sideburns as Watson in the 'Sherlock Holmes' films forced me to try new clothes.

"Jeans and a leather jacket didn't look so good anymore, so I bought a corduroy jacket and big snuggly jumpers. Suddenly, they looked cool.
