Have you ever wondered how healthy you are? One measure of health is your Body Mass Index (BMI). Your BMI is based on your height and weight in relation to your body fat and health levels. To determine if you're at a healthy weight, divide your weight by your height and calculate your BMI.

  BMI Categories:
  Underweight = <18.5
  Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
  Overweight = 25-29.9
  Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

  Your BMI =   Your Weight
                         Your Height

•NB: The BMI does have some limitations; It may over-estimate body fat in those who have a muscular build or it may underestimate body fat in older persons & others who have lost muscle.

Our busy lifestyles of comfort and convenience may not encourage us to be active or healthy, but a little regular exercise and nutritional eating will increase our longevity and allow us to enjoy our convenient lifestyles for longer.
