Renowned Sri Lankan singing icon Visharada Deepika Priyadarshani participated in a musical performance at the Shilpakala National Theatre  in Dhaka, Bangladesh recently.

The fund-raiser event was organised by the Sri Lanka Women’s Association (Seva Vanitha) – Dhaka together with the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Bangladesh.

Deepika was joined by Dr. Rohana Weerasinghe who handled the music orchestration in Bangladesh together with musicians Suresh Maliyadde, Kalani Perera,  Dhananjaya Somasiri, Mahendra Pasqual and Janaka Bogoda.

Deepika was presented with the award for the best female vocalist at the maiden Derana-Lux film awards ceremony recently.
