"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" is off to a momentous star in a lot of foreign markets, especially in Europe! In France, the movie sky-rocketed to the #1 spot, grossing 3.83 million US dollars it it's opening day. 

 

With that, it becomes the third highest opening in the country, behind the latest Harry Potter and Tintin. Down under, the vamps and wolves are doing quite nicely as well, raking in 1.7M USD during it's midnight screenings. And in Italy, the movie debuted at #1 just with it's midnight shows, taking in $2.3M USD! Everyone wants their team Edward or team Jacob!
