The muhurath ceremony of EAP Films’s latest cinematic venture titled 'Siri Daladagamanaya' to coincide with the 2600 Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi and the 65th anniversary of the Sinhala cinema, was held at the Allen Methiniyarama Viharaya in Polhengoda last Friday.

The film co-produced by EAP Group Chairperson Dr. Soma Edirisinghe and Ven. Akarawita Sangananda Thera of the Dandenong Buddhist Meditation Centre in Melbourne, Australia will be directed and scripted by Sanath Abeysekara who successfully made 'Mahindagamanaya'.
Suminda Weerasinghe will handle the camera, Ravindra Guruge the editing while Nihal Sanjaya will serve as the project's Executive Producer. Welegedara Ranasinghe will handle the art direction, Sanjaya Nipunaarachchi the make up, Sam Perera the hair styles while Ranga Dassanayake will handle the music.
Ravindra Randeniya, Geetha Kumarasinghe, Ranjan Ramanayake, Dilhani Ashokamala, Sriyantha Mendis and a host of popular stars will play the key roles in 'Siri Daladagamanaya' while the role pof Princess Hemamal will be played by 2011 Miss Sri Lanka Pushpika Sandmali.
Swarnavahini Director Programmes Buddhika Kulasekara will also start a new episode in his life as an actor with ‘Siri Daladagamanaya’.
