Award-winning tele drama maker Ananda Abeynayake's much-hyped tele serial 'Appachchi' starring award-winning actor Jackson Anthony in the title role, unfolds on Swarnavahini every Saturday at 8.30 pm.

Coming from the man who made tele serial like Ramya Suramya, Jeewithayata Idadenna, Rala Bidena Thena, Thaksalawa, Ahasin Watuna and Sansare Piyasatahan,  Appachchi is also going to be a super hit in the small screen arena.

 

 

Lead man Jackson Anthony is making a comeback to the small screen after 15 years, via Appachchi which has been scripted by talented Namal Jayasinghe who wrote the scripts of Jeewithayata Idadenna, Ahasin Watuna and Ira Mediyama.

 

 

The other cast members include Chandani Seneviratne, Lucian Bulathsinhala, Priya Ranasinghe, Padmini Devthurugama, Athula Pathirana, Shyami Fernando, Umali Thilakaratne, Namal Jayasinghe and Vishvajith Gunasekara.

 

 

The 60-episode story based on the reality faced by every individual in this country is produced by Serenity Entertainment. Dhammika Rathnayake handles the camera, Wenuka Wickremaarachchi the costume designing, Thusitha Attanayake the art direction while Asoka Athaudahetti is the assistant director.
