AOD, Sri Lanka’s international design campus not only offers globally renowned degree education in design, but also acts as a dynamic force behind developing Sri Lanka’s design industry.

Identifying Photography as a vital sector that supports the design industry, AOD offers international standard (BTEC) UK qualifications in Photography, through a comprehensive programme delivered by local and international photography experts.

 

 

The programme offers a broad ranging study from fashion photography, event photography, nature/wildlife, portraiture etc. along with technical knowledge in equipment maintenance, use of lighting and studio facilities plus client practices and the business of photography to ensure that students emerge as fully competent photography professionals.

 

 

The programme is structured in a Saturdays only, part-time format in order to encourage working professionals and other students who are passionate in photography to take part. “This programme will offer photographers a greater level of competence, innovation and interest in the field and equip them with skills and expertise required to work on a global platform” says Karen MacLeod, the principal of AOD.

 

 

Final round of registrations are now in progress for the programme which is due to commence at the end of June 2012.
