Why do you love travel?
It’s a passion and a hobby which I enjoy very much.
Your favorite travel destination and why?
Europe, you can cover so many countries and cities in a shorter period.
What do you need for a perfect holiday?
I love to travel with my family so they are essential! Of course a good camera too.
In which country have you felt most at home?
New Zealand, as I lived there for a year with a family when I was young as part of the AFS student exchange programme.
Most unusual souvenir you have brought home?
There are many but perhaps a pair of masks from Italy.
Favourite holiday discovery?
Macau.
Worst holiday or travel experience?
It was actually the journey when I went to New York through Japan which took 30 hours instead of the shorter duration it normally takes travelling via Europe.
Best piece of travel advice?
Do not travel to unknown countries unless you have someone you know or you are with a travel group.
Your top five travel destinations?
New Zealand, Japan, US, Brazil and Switzerland.
What has travel taught you?
Many things but meeting different people and getting to know their culture teaches you many things.
What is the country you will never go back to and why?
There is no country that I would never go back to.
Which country did you taste the best ever cuisine?
Japan.
Next travel destination?
Probably Africa as I have never gone to the African continent.
