To explore new places, meet new people, taste new and unusual food and also to learn about other cultures.
Your favourite travel destination and why?
Taking into account all the places I have been to the best destination for me is the USA! It is an amazing place! I loved it so much! It felt amazing to see it for real after having watched so many American movies!
What do you need for a perfect holiday?
Beach, book, iPod, shorts, shades and passport.
In which country have you felt most at home?
The USA. My aunt who looked after my family when my mom was pregnant with me lives in Staten Island, NYC! She was like a second mother to my sister and I. First day we visited, she came to pick us up to the airport with flowers! Then onwards it was like a roller coaster of adventures, but a roller coaster going up! I also LOVED San Francisco.
Most unusual souvenir you have brought home?
A sea lion’s vertebra I picked up from Bird Rock, San Fransisco.
Worst holiday or travel experience?
Getting lost in Disneyland California.
Best piece of travel advice?
Always carry a CHARGED smartphone!
Your top five travel destinations?
NYC, San Franscsco, Niagara Falls, Australia and England.
What has travel taught you?
Accepting new cultures, adapting to scary situations, and taking care of your travel companions.
Which country did you taste the best ever cuisine?
In the USA. My friend Tosheen took us to a Mediterranean restaurant called ‘Kaza Maza’. I just fell in love with the hummus and the garlic paste, we ate it with naan and huge kebabs. Also the dessert was a sweet cheesecake wrapped in a golden brown string hopper like thing which unfortunately I can’t remember the name of! But it was simply amazing! I enjoyed it a lot!
Next travel destination?
Africa or Japan.
