David Macdonald is the founder of Oxford University’s Wildlife Conservation Research Unit which is the largest and the best known world class academic centre for addressing the greatest threats to wildlife. He is known for his documentaries on wildlife. His documentary ‘Night of the Fox’ won the BAFTA for Best Documentary Film in 1976.
Dawn Burnham is currently the Unit Manager and PA to Prof. David MacDonald at the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit. She has worked in Zambia on blue monkeys and has contributed to wildlife management plans.

Alison Wearing is a Canadian writer and performer. Her book ‘Honeymoon in Purdah’ was an internationally acclaimed travel memoir published in seven countries. She was nominated for the RBC/Taylor Prize for Non-Fiction, shortlisted for the Edna Staebler Award for Creative Nonfiction and was named one of the Top 50 Books of 2013 by Indigo Books.
Sara Wheeler is a prize winning non-fiction writer and is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, a Contributing Editor of The Literary Review and a Trustee of The London Library. She was the winner of the Banff Adventure Travel Prize in 2009.

Caroline Courtauld is a writer, published photographer, and documentary film producer. Her widely acclaimed book The Forbidden City–The Great Within, was a companion book to a dramatized Discovery Channel documentary. Later, she was awarded an MBE for her leading work in the hospice care movement in Hong Kong.
Jennifer Murray is the first woman to pilot a helicopter around the word. An all rounder, she is the holder of several World Guinness Book Records for Aviation and the recipient of Britannia Trophy and International Harmon Trophy for Aviatrices. Her book, Now Solo (2002), tells the epic journey of her eighteen months of intensive preparation for her flight.
