Hover Zoom:
Whether you are searching for specific images for your research project or just stalking your friends on FB, constantly opening pictures in a new tab can be tiresome and even remove the fun of the experience. The Hover Zoom tool automatically allows users to view the pictures in full size without having to open a new page. All you have to do is move the cursor over an image and wait for it to load (typically takes a few seconds).
Search by Image:
Google already lets users search by images. However, if you are reading an article and you want to quickly search the picture(s) included, then you really need to add the Search by Image extension that is available in the Chrome Store. There is also an option that allows users to search an image simply by hovering over a picture and clicking the magnifying glass that appears on the lower-right corner.
Google Quick Scroll:
Ever Googled an article and then spent ages looking for that one sentence or paragraph? Well if that experience left you traumatised, then the Google Quick Scroll App is perfect. The app will quickly and effortlessly highlight the parts in your search query and let you jump straight to that part of the article.
Browser Clipboard:
For those who do a lot of writing or researching, copying bits of articles or images can be a lot of trouble because users are forced to either open a lot of tabs or constantly stop in the middle of an article to copy-paste relevant bits. The Browser Clipboard extension from Google lets you save those clippings on the clipboard and access them easily after your research/browsing secession.
Black Menu:
While this is strictly not a browsing tool it is extremely handy. The app basically features all Google Services including Maps, Drive, Youtube, Search, Calendar and Translate. Importantly you can access the services from the app itself, which saves a lot of time.
