Assuming you are an income earner, interested in keeping track of your accounts, then a handy mobile expense-tracking apps is always useful. These apps are simple enough that you could record your grocery bills while the cashier is still busy fumbling around for change or waiting to verify your credit card.
Spendee
Simple, intuitive and very colourful. This app allows you to record your income and expenditure without complicated budgets and accounts. There are simple categories that you can add/edit or remove. Moreover, something I love about this app is that it allows you to take pictures of your bills or personal notes or the items you purchase and store it with the associated entry. The data is available in simple infographics and if you want, you can export the data on excel, CSV or Google Drive.
Unfortunately, this is powered by apps, which are quite annoying. The ad-free version requires a subscription.
Financius
This is similar to Spendee but it is a little more complicated. Accounting is not my strength but I don't think you need Bsc. Accounting to get through this. Users will need to create accounts and then record incomes and expenditure under these accounts. Like Spendee, you can create different categories under income and expenditure and there are nice infographics. Unlike Spendee it is a little more complex but this might suit more serious users. It also has Google Drive back up and report generating features.

Expense Manager
This app is probably similar to Financius than Spendee. It has more complex features including monthly expense limits. It also allows users to manage monthly overheads and create advance expense groupings.
Unfortunately, the best features - recording incomes, detailed stats and expense distribution - require in-app purchases.
