It always seems like we need more than 24 hours in a day because we have so much to do, yet we find ourselves staring mindlessly into walls, bored to death and wiling away time; be it at class or at work or in the midst of having to do chores. This is where this app comes in handy. Think! is actually a pretty fun app to kill boredom and stimulate your brain while at it. 

How it works 

Think! has a pretty clean, minimalistic interface that is well designed. The app is thankfully not cluttered, which would have made the experience tedious. The developers of this trivia app attempt to “teach the player to think visually” - using symbols to communicate an idea; which can be either a phrase, an abstract thought, sports, movie, tv show or a book. 

After a short introduction that helps you warm up to the game - that includes which hands signals denote prepositions, etc - you're good to go. The game starts off relatively easy and gets progressively more tricky. Especially considering that you will tend to overthink things as you go along :/  Nevertheless, Think! is very addictive, and you can't stop playing. That is, until you get stuck at some point. Which you most definitely will. The app also gives you hints if your answers are close enough. Which kinda helps because that lets you know you're on the right track. 

Downsides 

There are only 3 hints available for free, which you don’t realize until AFTER you've used up all of the hints and have to replenish them, which costs money. The only other option to help you in the game is to share on facebook or any other social media when you're stuck and hope someone would know the answer! Also, we found the music kinda annoying and distracting. But of course, at least there's the ability to mute it. The app even crashed a few times :( Hopefully future updates will sort it out. 

In-app purchases 

As we mentioned previously, you need to pay if you need more hints. But trust us when we say you can do without it. Although it might initially be frustrating, before long you will figure the answer out. 

To get or not to get? 

This is definitely not one of the most revolutionary trivia apps out there, but it's definitely fun and keeps you busy. Albeit, it tests your patience quite a bit and gets quite frustrating when you can't get the answer right. We would recommend giving it a try though - you will most probably end up liking it!
