The first of its kind purpose built wedding salon will bring together all aspects of a perfect wedding to one convenient location. The unique and refreshing new style and experience namely ‘The Galle Face Wedding’ will have its initial kick off from the 1st of March 2015. The plan was initially developed by the management, especially General Manager Tony Fleming and Director of Operations Carlos S Vizan. Armed with the product knowledge of creating luxury wedding experiences from across many destinations they have now brought to the Galle Face Hotel an ultimate luxury wedding planning experience – the Wedding Salon.

The Vintage Ballroom will comprise of a system that will create the mood and tone of the venue where our guests could choose from over 16,000 colours to glamourize the venue.  Some of the features of the Wedding Salon which will be established in front of the hotel starting from October of this year are a conversation room to plan your wedding with a screen to display images and a studio room for photographers and wedding related vendors like photographers, floral designers, plush seating options or even beauty experts etc. Couples who choose to have their wedding at Galle Face Hotel will also have a dedicated wedding concierge from the start to the end to tie up the loose ends. The wedding menus are also extensive with many options to choose from.  Additional menu item apart from the regulars will also be accommodated. All menus are prepared by experienced chefs and specialized experts who have worked around the world, so the food experience will also be different.

One of the unique offerings of the Galle Face Hotel wedding experience is the Galle Face Destination Wedding catering specifically to foreign couples who want to tie the knot in true Sri Lankan style.
