The Bayleaf - Celebrates 10 Years of Serving in Italian Cuisine! 

The Bayleaf, Colombo’s finest Italian restaurant, set in a grand 100 year colonial home, serving fine Italian cuisine – celebrates 10 successful years on August 1. With culinary flair and inspired creativity, the Bayleaf’s chefs have been interpreting traditional Italian cuisine for all to enjoy.

Over the past 10 years The Bayleaf has established itself as a casual yet sophisticated restaurant, with a warm ambiance, following a simple philosophy of, serving a range of fresh homemade pastas and home grown wood fired pizzas. The restaurant has featured guest chef programs, launched the kids pizza workshop concept and been the venue for many social and corporate events in the city.

"The Bayleaf is my signature restaurant, and gave me the opportunity in expanding into the restaurant business in the city. The grand mansion with Its old world  charm, the homely relaxed ambiance and serving fine fresh Italian food has been its success and continue to be so. As part of the of the 10th anniversary celebrations, from August 3 - 9, a special 15% discount will be offered to guests. Additionally, the refurbishment program that was initiated  for the exterior and interior has added a brand new look for garden dining, a new interior makeover for the Retro Bar and the revamping of the private dining rooms.

A new revised menu will be launched with an eclectic mix of Italian favourites with emphasis on introducing new flavours along with the traditional specials. The Retro Bar menu sees a new and exciting selection of Italian Tapas to be enjoyed at the Bar along with  a selection of fine wines, liquor and fresh juice.
