Delicious Tapas at Taj

Tapas are a wide variety of appetizers, or snacks, in Spanish cuisine. They may be cold (such as mixed olives and cheese) or hot. In select bars in Spain, tapas have evolved into an entire, and sometimes sophisticated, cuisine. In Spain, patrons of tapas can order many different tapas and combine them to make a full meal. In some Central American countries, such snacks are known as bocas. In Mexico, similar dishes are called 'botanas.'

The recently refurbished lobby lounge “The Lattice” at the Taj Samudra, Colombo is delighted to serve some delicious tapas from 3 pm to 9 pm daily. You could savour the delicious Tapas like Mary Tierra – Prawns in olive oil with garlic and hot chili peppers, Calamares a la plancha – grilled squid in garlic with lemon juice and parsley, Pescaito frito – marinated deep fried fish, Pinch moruno con chorizo – marinated chicken skewers with chorizo and many more mouth-watering tapas will be on the cards from 26th June to 10th of July. Deep fried potatoes in chili and garlic sauce – Patatas bravas and mushrooms in garlic will be available at the Lattice for all vegetarians. For more details call 2446622.
