Chef Rana from New Delhi is Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s very own expert in North Indian cuisine.  He has won the hearts of Colombo diners with his bubbly personality and exceptional culinary skills. The buffet will present some delectable dishes infused with rich Indian and Sri Lankan spices all included in the wide variety of dishes available during this promotion.

Both countries are known for its variety of vegetarian and meat dishes, North Indian’s popular regional dishes are recognizable for their distinctive tastes. Curries typically have thick, moderately spicy and creamy gravies. Dishes like Gosht Hyderabadi (spicy mutton curry), Lahore Lamb Biryani and Methi Macchi Tikka (salmon marinated in yogurt, fenugreek leaves and aromatic spices) are favourites.

The region also produces a dazzling array of vegetarian dishes like Lasooni Tamatar Shorba (spiced tomato soup), Rajma Rasil (red kidney beans in spiced gravy), Dal Bukhara (black lentil curry), Pudina Paneer Pakora (cottage cheese fritters served with tomato or green mint sauce) and Anda Masala (Punjabi egg curry cooked in spices, onions and tomato gravy).
