Recipe : Peanut Butter Treats

It is the season to be jolly and my tastebuds and I definitely intend to make that Christmas wish come true!! As the Christmas chores mount and you struggle, exasperated,  with the annual mysteriously entangled Christmas lights, you can simply shoo your woes away with an indulgence of this delectable little peanut butter treat. Not much is needed to put this together but the satisfaction it guarantees is in describable to put into words. Thus with the advent of the  Christmas season and the visits from friends and family, be sure to serve them these delectable goodies, they will surely be thankful! Seasons Greetings! 
 
 
Ingredients 
 
· 1 packet of nice biscuits 
· 1 cup unsalted butter 
· 1 cup brown sugar 
· ½ jar of peanut butter 
· ½ cup finely chopped cashew nuts 
 
Instructions 
 
1. Line a 9" x 13" baking sheet with foil. place biscuits in a single layer over the foil. Fill up the pan as best you can. 
 
2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and cook until sugar has dissolved and it just begins bubbling. 
 
3. Pour the sugar mixture evenly over biscuits. Use the back of a spoon to spread the sugar mixture so it's evenly distributed. 
 
4. Add dollops of peanut butter over the top of the sugar mixture. 
 
5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place the baking sheet in oven while it preheats. Check on the candy every 3 to 5 minutes until peanut butter chips look a little melted. Carefully remove baking sheet from oven. 
 
6. Use the back the of a spoon to spread the melted peanut butter evenly over the biscuit base.  Sprinkle the candy with cashew nut pieces. Let the candy cool until you are able to handle it with your bare hands. Transfer the candy to fridge and chill for at least 1 hour to overnight. 
 
7. Break candy into pieces.
