As strange as this sounds, (baked spaghetti?), this dish is a definite winner and will easily become an option at your dinner table more times than you can say... baked spaghetti! Full of flavour, the dish subtly tantalizes your tastebuds without being overpowering and feels like a warm hug full of deliciousness. In our house where spicy flavours are not entirely welcomed, this dish has become a family classic with the kids returning with empty plates wanting more! Wholesome, flavoursome and extremely easy to put together, I recommend any busy parent to give this a try!
Ingredients
Pieces of chicken
Packet of spaghetti
Packet of cream of chicken soup
Chopped parsley
Cup of grated cheese
½ container of cream
Method
Mariana the chicken in some mild spices, I put salt, pepper, garlic powder and a bit of paprika. Rub it in and bake in the oven. In the meantime par boil the spaghetti, don't tell it cook all the way through. Once half done and still a bit raw take off the stove and leave in the water till needed. Now drain the spaghetti and in a shallow oven dish mix the spaghetti with the soup, cream and chopped parsley, add in some salt and pepper. By the time the chicken should be half way done, take out of the oven and pour the juices escaped from the chicken in to the spaghetti dish, take the chicken and embed in the gooey creamy mound of spatting. Now cover and place back in the oven until the chicken is done, the spaghetti would have cooked in the cream chicken sauce. Top with cheese and serve immediately, with the thick slice of garlic bread, this is heaven!
