Palmstone Retreat : A scenic hideaway

Palmstone comprise of 3 chalets with 2 rooms each. The chalets are situated within the dense thicket to bring in a one-of-a-kind experience to the visitors. The rooms are titled as ‘Nelum’ and ‘Araliya’ with various facilities provided for each. ‘Nelum’ offers A/C rooms with king-sized beds, Dialog TV, dressing table with hairdryer, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, a heated indoor Jacuzzi and private outdoor deck. What is special in an ‘Araliya’ room is that in addition to these facilities, you are offered a heated outdoor private plunge pool and a steam room. After a trek in the jungle, you could always plunge in to the mini-steam bath and enjoy a dip observing the soothing greenery. These chalets can accommodate up to 12 persons maximum.

During your leisure time you could watch TV at the TV lounge which is designed with high-end architecture and equipped with cosy furniture to provide maximum comfort to the visitors. A pool table too awaits anybody interested to enjoy a game with friends or family. The TV lounge is accompanied by a wide balcony that provides a scenic view of the surrounding rubber canopy on one side and the waterfall on the other. The lobby area in the ground floor is accompanied with the main dining area which can accommodate close to 25 people. It is equipped with relaxing sofas along with 2 swimming pools, one for adults and another baby pool equipped with underwater lighting facilities and Jacuzzi pressure.

Guests come in for various activities out of which rafting tops their must-do lists. In addition to that Kitulgala is also an ideal spot for bird watching, jungle treks and river bathing.
