Hilton Colombo hosts the “original” Oktoberfest for the 21st time!

Hilton Colombo today announced their 21st authentic Bavarian food and brew festival Oktoberfest from October 23, to November 1, at the sports centre arena.

The grand marquee that can accommodate up to 800 people at one sitting will give the diners a festive ambiance. The live Bavarian band flown in courtesy Qatar Airways especially for the occasion will play Bavarian music and guests are encouraged to let their hair down and dance on tables too.  The festival includes an extensive spread of German cold cuts, salads, freshly baked pretzels, an assortment of home-made sausages, prepared by Cargills  together with Hilton Colombo’s executive chef Daniel Leah and his professional team of chefs. Guests could also enjoy a lineup of fun events such as the power hammer, brew drinking competitions, wrestling, hat games, chicken dance and more.

Oktoberfest will be held for 10 days starting at 6pm until midnight from Monday through Thursday and 6pm to 1am on Friday and Saturday.
