‘Maru Palanaya’ : A little bit of everything

‘Maru Palanaya’, Indu Dharmasena’s newest political satire was a truly excellent masterpiece that blew all minds away. Romesh Kaylingnayaka played by Indu Dharmasena and his crew performed the same political gossip that we talk about and hear every day. The power hungry ministers, the ‘honest’ servants, affectionate family members all pooled in to show how it is like for one to be elected as an executive president and the pressures he has to live with thereafter. While making the whole audience guffaw till their jaws ached, the play also conveyed a message.

Meanwhile, those heading back home after a good evening of laughter didn’t forget to share their experience with us :
