The much awaited International Christmas Charity Bazaar pulled off in a grand scale marking another successful year for the organizing committee. The venue was brightened up with stalls from different countries and charities, selling unique products such as crafts, delicacies, clothes, ornaments, jewellery and many more items for a house full of enthusiastic shoppers. Visitors were as excited as the participants since everybody was busy trying to donate a little more in the name of charity.

While scanning through the products on sale at the stalls, the Daily Mirror Life also took some time to speak to a few stallholders and get their views about being a part of this cause.

This is the second time that we are having our stall representing Thailand at ICCB. We have many crafts and souvenirs on sale. It is a good idea to host an event of this nature where all proceeds are going back to charity.

We always try give in our maximum for charity. We have many products on sale today and so far we have had a good day. It is a very good practice to donate money for charity and we are happy to have engaged in this cause.

It is unbelievable how much of a support we have got from our team. We want to make a difference and I think the organizing committee has done a fabulous job in making this happen. ICCB has been hosted for many years and it is not just a bazaar where you can come and just buy things and walk home. There are many more items like Lucky Dips which would make the visitors interested in spending a few bucks in the name of charity. The name of our charity is ‘Hilfsbrueche’ and it is wonderful to see all ladies working together to make this happen. Surprisingly, this year we also won the award for the best stall.

It is nice to be a part of this cause. This is the second time that we are participating in this event. A lot of countries have come here to contribute to this cause and it is an amazing idea to organize and event of this calibre to donate all proceeds to charity.

We look forward to this event every year and we are very happy to be a part of it. We have been with this cause for many years and last time we donated all our proceeds to the Child Cancer programme. The children were very happy to receive our gifts and this time too we hope to contribute as much as we can to make a difference in another’s life.

It is a fantastic platform for people to get together and contribute to charity. All our products are done by tsunami-affected victims. Therefore this is a boost for social entrepreneurship as well. We are truly excited about the event.

It’s a big platform for people of all countries to get together and work as a team in the name of charity. From morning we have had a good response and we are very excited.

It is a project which has been initiated in the south after the tsunami as means of boosting their livelihood and in addition to that we have parents of the Wanathamulla slum joining us in giving beautiful materials such as table cloths which are priced considerably and are sold at different places in order to generate an income for them. We are working tirelessly to improve their skills and allow them to be self-sufficient.

It is an event that we look forward to every year and this year too we have brought in items from Egypt. We have had a good response since morning and hopefully we’ll be sold out during the latter part of it. I really appreciate the effort put forth by the organizing committee to make this event happen in a grand scale.
