From momma Ellie to Sansa we now have the pleasure of introducing Shae; another member of the Labrador family who will share the spotlight along with her mom and sister. Shae is not a picky eater in fact she's the opposite! She has no rhyme or time to eat or sleep and considers both to be of crucial importance. However unlike other Labradors we've had the pleasure to meet, this one is calm and collected. (All until she sees her family or food!)
Pet's Details
Name: Princess Shae Caramel Jr.
Breed: Labrador Retriever
Age: 2 Years
Owner: Ashini & Piyusha
What's the significance of the name you've given her?
Shae and her 5 sisters were all named after characters from the Game of Thrones TV series.
What is a typical day like for Shae?
Wake up. Go out for a walk. Eat. Sleep. Dig large holes in the garden. Sleep. Get petted. Sleep. (She sleeps. A LOT!)
What are meal times and bath times like?
Meal Times - EAT! (no sniffing or checking what she has just been given to eat).
Bath Time - Shae runs away from the bathroom the moment she realizes she is about to have a bath. We have to catch her and drag her in. But the funny thing is, she LOVES to bathe! She sometimes even falls asleep while being soaped.
Does she do anything out of the ordinary that fascinates you?
Eats absolutely anything and everything! Including paper, bugs, insects, lizards, etc. While we eat, she will sit by us and drool a river of saliva and wait to have at least a tiny piece of food! To get our attention, Shae would scratch us with her paws. It's her way of trying to grab our hand (or leg), but that leaves scars!
What is her most favourite fun time activity?
Going to the beach and swimming in the sea! (And eating)
What is the naughtiest thing she has done?
Bark at and chase a few kids who were cycling down our lane (multiple times!). Not cause she doesn’t like the kids, but cause she hates the bikes!
How did you find her?
Shae was born to the family.
How does she react when you return home after a long day?
Shae can identify the sound of our car from a few meters away. The moment we open the gate, she sticks her nose out first and then emerges out! And gets overly excited over seeing us and keeps jumping on us and expecting attention.
What's makes her the best?
Her unusually big brown eyes that can melt anyone's heart! She was also the first pup out of her siblings to open her eyes.
What was the most unforgettable moment that you shared with her?
The most unforgettable moment we shared with Shae was when we first brought her home. I was worried she will be scared to sleep alone the first night so I slept on the floor with her. She didn't cry or whine even once. She didn’t even wake me up. She has always been a very calm Labrador!
