Harpo’s Pizza expands with its first pizza and pasta parlour in Nugegoda!

Harpo's Pizza, now in its 8th year of operation expands with the launching of its first stand alone pizza and pasta parlour in Nugegoda, conveniently located on Stanley Tillekeratne Mawatha in the center of Nugegoda town, offering dine in, take-away and delivery service for all to enjoy the sumptuous woodfired, thin crust pizzas and homemade pastas, which it is famous for.

“It has always been my plan to expand the Harpo’s Pizza & Pasta brand, and Nugegoda town seemed an ideal location to start with the first such parlour. We have set our standard with the Italian pizzas and I wanted to introduce a homegrown pizza range along with a fresh pasta selection. This is the first in a few more I plan to open in the near future.” said Harpo Gooneratne, MD.

The experienced team is headed by Chef Rasika Perera bringing in over 20 years of exposure at recognized Italian Restaurants, in Singapore, Alec Van Cuylenburg as Director of Operations and Arshad Ibrahim as Assistant Manager, both with extensive experience in restaurant management, internationally and locally.

With its own brick wood fired oven, the concept is on serving homemade, home grown products with the pizza and pasta range, using fresh and healthier ingredients. There are 26 delicious flavours in 3 sizes which includes Colombo’s largest pizza with 16 sumptuous slices.
The pizza parlour has dine-in facilities for 20 pax and also offers takeaway and delivery service. The delivery zone covers as far as Kotte, Nawinna, Boralesgamuwa and Mount Lavinia.
