With Halloween around the corner, why not try these, easy and quite healthy Halloween treats for your little wizards and witches.
Just the fact that they appear ‘rotten’ might encourage the everyday egg hater to give them a try! Rich in protein, this Halloween treat will stand out from our typical sugary Halloween candy.
Ingredients
Large eggs
Food coloring
Method
Hard boil eggs and leave to cool
Combine food coloring to make an attractive color, usually blue and green are a perfect combination.
Gently crack the hard boiled egg, leaving the shells on.
Cover with water and add the food coloring
Let the eggs sit in the colored water for at least half an hour.
Remove shells and enjoy your rotten eggs.
