I love exploring new places and the adventure associated with travel.

Your favourite travel destination and why?

Africa, as the wildlife there is simply amazing.

What do you need for a perfect holiday?

Great weather, good company and opportunities for adventure!

In which country have you felt most at home?

I felt most at home at Japan as the people were so friendly and courteous. They made us feel so very welcome.

Most unusual souvenir you have brought home?

A wood carving of a Masai family on a piece of ebony wood.

Favourite holiday discovery?

My family and I went on a spur of the moment holiday to Egypt which was great. It was a great country to visit and we discovered lots of interesting places to see.

Worst holiday or travel experience?

Thankfully I have not experienced a bad holiday experience as yet.

Best piece of travel advice?

Always be prepared! Speak to the locals and discover what the locals do, that will give you a good taste of what life is really like in that country.

Your top five travel destinations?

Kenya, Tanzania, Japan, USA and France.

What has travel taught you?

To appreciate what I have and respect other cultures.

Which country did you taste the best ever cuisine?

Japan, the food tasted so fresh and it was so healthy.

Australia.
