views 1236Presented by Methodist College and directed by Ruvin de Silva, "Fruitcake" is a play that weaves through au courant issues faced on a daily basis by teenagers in the country. The events unfold in a female psychiatric ward, where the girls have been admitted for reasons ranging from body image to rape.
Each actor deserves special mention - their acting chops were undeniable. From embracing their roles and living out their stories to the subtle nuances associated with their unique characters, the talented girls of Methodist College validated the characters they played. Supported by a group of amazing young actors, Ruvin de Silva's Fruitcake is thought provoking and intense with a smattering of a few laughs.
