The 264 kms of riding is predominantly on a flat carpeted surface apart from few stretches of varying gradient between Kurunegala and Dambulla,. The road condition significantly improves after Dambulla. The Habarana to Trinco stretch of 85 Kms is undoubtedly the most picturesque with the ride over Kantale dam being the most fascinating stretch.
