A unique and record collection of drapery and upholstery fabrics, wallpaper, carpeting, furniture and interior accessories is made available.
Shivanthi Manuel, the brainchild behind Cocoon is a designer herself, but has a deep passion for collecting rare-to-find items for interiors. She assures all items are handpicked and cannot be purchased anywhere else in Colombo.

The furniture is imported from Japan and China while the drapery is from India. A unique black and white fabric with history’s biggest faces and a chequered leather floor spread were few of the items that instantly drew and held my attention.
Although initially Shivanthi’s focus was on providing for resorts, she hopes to now extend her line for customised home décor specifications.
She will be more than happy to provide specialised drapery and accessories as her clientele would have it.
Come February 2013 and Cocoon Furnishing Fabrics will be open to the public.
