The Supper Club
Clique’s Supper Club features a set canapé, set dinner and snack platter menus in addition to a select range of soups, starters, salads, sushi and sashimi, and side dishes. The Set Canapé menu is recommended for private events and parties and features three separate menu options (all three priced differently) of canapés.
Menu 01 features garlic olives, Thai fish cakes, tempura prawn and avocado maki, mini chicken satays, bruschetta, baby papadam filled with spinach and cheese, Thai rare beef salad and tropical fruit sushi. Menu 02 features gazpacho in a shot glass, green papaya salad on a salty cracker, rare beef and spicy herb roll, stuffed tomatoes with chorizo and cheese salad, tuna and pol sambol wonton, chicken liver mousse on yellow zucchini, bruschetta and vanilla panna cotta in a shot glass. Menu 03 features chilled mango and coriander in a shot glass, mini mutton kofta on a sugar cane stick, smoked salmon with dill cream and cucumber, cheese and corn fritters, chicken liver mousse on yellow zucchini, tuna ceviche and caviar on brown toast, baby papadam filled with spinach and cheese and mini pancake filled with pani pol.
Moving on to the main menu, you can choose from soups, sushi and sashimi, starters and salads and snack sides before your main meal. Chilled gazpacho or chilled mango and coriander soup is available on the menu in addition to a soup of the day which can be requested. Should you want some Japanese fare, there’s tuna and salmon sashimi and sushi nigiri, dragon rolls and beef rolls. The salads and starters menu features vegetarian, chicken, beef and seafood options such as the roasted bell pepper and aubergine cheese wrap with rocket salad and basil mayonnaise, grilled chicken caesar salad with caramelized beetroot and anchovy dressing, grilled calamari salad, rare beef salad and geso karaage (Japanese fried squid salad).
The mains feature imported steak sous-vide (sirloin, tenderloin and tenderloin black angus) accompanied with mushroom red wine reduction sauce or jalapeño chimichurri sauce. There’s sous-vide jerk chicken and both mains are served with fresh salad and a choice of ultrasonic fries, garlic mash or rosemary potatoes. The special on this menu however is the Clique Rice which is a paella of sorts and is accompanied by curried chicken, a range of seafood and four types of condiments. It serves 2 and takes 40 minutes to prepare. Other items on the dinner menu include the Thai vegetarian green curry and Thai red prawn curry, both of which are served with jasmine rice or glass noodles and gotukola salsa. Another vegetarian option is the roasted pumpkin with chillie linguini pasta.
Desserts feature sorbets, macaron and ice cream pairings, vanilla bean panna cotta with chocolate dipped strawberries and a seasonal fruit platter with whipped cream.
