‘Choirs in Harmony’ : An evening of entertainment 

An evening of rhapsody filled the halls of the Wendt as some of Colombo’s leading intermediate choirs entertained an audience of music lovers in aid of a good cause. ‘Choirs in Harmony’ featured the performances of Bishop’s College, Ladies’ College, Methodist College, St. Peter’s College and St. Thomas’ Preparatory School along with a mind-blowing guest performance by the De Lanerolle brothers with Neranjan De Silva at the keyboard.

Organised in aid of the Organ Fund of the Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour, the performances included multilingual items much to the excitement of the audience.

After enjoying a rich evening of good music, a few music lovers shared their feelings with the Daily Mirror Life:

“It was a fabulous performance when considering the ages of the children who performed. Also the finale was excellent.”

“It was brilliant. The De Lanerolle brothers too were amazing and without any prior practice the children synced well with them at the finale.”
