Current students of Musaeus College joined the Workshop Players in this production, raising the bar high with excellent vocal performances. While the experienced Workshop Players could be relied upon to bring unbridled yet proven talent to the table, the Musaeites too blew audiences away with their phenomenal performances.
Many performances shone that evening, but the solo performance for “Climb Every Mountain” from The Sound of Music left many audience members in tears of appreciation. The post interval renditions, continuing in the same vein included many standout performances - especially the Jesus Christ Superstar numbers - eliciting similar reactions from audiences.
All in all, the "Best of Broadway" audience were treated to richly orchestrated solos and grand choral numbers, extravagant costumes, leading to spectacular and visually impressive entertainment.
