No matter what sort of work you do or what sort of a day you’ve had being pampered is something few people would pass an opportunity on. With a number of spas popping up around town, the choices seem endless but one thing’s for sure, if luxurious treatment is what you’re after, the Ariyanna Spa at Casa Colombo is certainly what the doctor ordered!
Ariyanna Spa offers a variety of massages, body scrubs, body wraps, facials and head care as well as collection rituals.
My pampering started with some refreshing fresh lemon juice infused with pandang leaves and bees honey. I was then pampered, literally, from head to toe with a sensational Balinese massage. The therapy started with a foot massage and scrub with salt crystals and warm water.
I was then guided to my room where the therapist took the utmost care to maintain my privacy and the massage was just fantastic. She hit all my pressure points perfectly and even though I was completely relaxed I didn’t doze off, therefore allowing me to enjoy every moment of the massage. Once the massage was over I was given a cup of warm ginger tea sweetened with honey.
The Balinese massage at Ariyanna Spa, Casa Colombo was just what my body needed after a heavy work week and is a massage I would recommend hands down to anyone needing to unwind!
Ariyanna Spa at Casa Colombo is the newest spa managed by the Azmaara Spa Management Company Pvt Ltd. The Azmaara Spa at Cinnamon Lakeside was awarded as the best spa for the second consecutive year at the Sri Lanka Tourism Awards 2012.
The spas offer a number of exciting credit card promotions till November and you can make use of these offers at any of the spas managed by Azmaara Spa Management Company Pvt Ltd., which are: Ariyanna at The Blue Water, Wadduwa, the Randholee Luxury Resort & Spa, Kandy, Azmaara at Chaaya Tranz, Hikkaduwa, Bentota Beach Hotel, Chaaya Village and Cinnamon Lodge, Habarana, Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo, Chaaya Reef, Ellaidhoo and Cinnamon Bay, Beruwala (the latter which will be opening soon).
