Colombo Courtyard offers a varying number of wonderful experiences from a calming ambience to delicious food and delicious beverages while Amber Spa, at the hotel offers amazing treatment ranging from a Traditional Balinese Massage, Traditional Thai Massage to even Couples Treatment.

The spa has been in operation since November 2013 and they have brought down therapists from Bali for their varying treatments while they use a combination of natural oils also brought down from Bali.

I opted for the Signature Amber Massage, which for 55 minutes was a satisfying and calming experience. My therapist knew exactly what she was doing, using long stokes and stretches making sure not to add too much pressure so as to make the experience that much more comfortable for me. She used a combination of Eucalyptus and Cinnamon oil, which was soothing and not overpowering in the least.

The massages aside, they also offer scrubs like the Lulur Body Scrub which contains colouring extract and natural ingredients for removing dead skin cells to smoothen and brighten the skin. The Princess Secret uses a sandalwood extract mixed with Dead Sea salt to clean away dead skin while removing aging cells which is said to leave your skin feeling refreshed, glowing and even has a whitening effect.

Among the Amber Signature treatment list are the Exotic Warm Stone Massage and the Amber Herbal Massage. If you are recovering from jet lag, try the Jet Lag Recovery treatment which will be a combination of a foot massage as well as an energy massage to relieve tension to stimulate the whole body, responding to specific pressure points located on the feet, as well as the back and neck. It is a firm intense massage focused on your specific area of muscular tension specially designed to relieve tension and blocks in the back and neck muscles using oils to loosen those tight neck muscles and alleviate accumulated tension.
