Lite FM treated fourteen couples with a romantic dinner for two at the scenic Reef’s Edge Hotel in Uswetakeiyawa on Valentine’s Day. Listeners had to describe their partner as a food item in order to win the experience. 

The couples were treated to a delicious five course dinner at a setting fit for the most ambitious of Valentine’s Day plans with tables set up outdoors under the clear sky and constant cool breezes blowing in from the ocean. Live music played by a saxophonist really added to the relaxed atmosphere. 

The couples also got to interact with the hosts of their favourite shows with most of the hosts being present at the event. All in all, it was a special night for all the couples who were all gifted a rose and a compilation CD of greatest love songs of all time from classics like Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ to modern favourites such as Ed Sheeran's ‘Thinking Out Loud’ to make the night that much more memorable.
