The thing about food and beverages coming out of the &Co kitchen apart from being delicious, are the extremely reasonable prices. And the Townhouse by &Co, located at the Liberty Arcade, is not far from their usual standard of value for money either.
Ambience and Friendly Staff – 5 stars
This new venture was set up as a tea house where one can relax, have a cuppa and nibble on some pastries or sandwiches. The place is clean and you can literally spend hours here. The lady serving you is pretty knowledgeable about her teas and is quite friendly.
Taste and value for money – 5 stars
Apart from short eats and cakes, this little tea house even dishes out &Co’s signature Chicken or Pork Lamprais (Rs 500) and even Pork, Fish or Chicken Rice and Curry (Rs 300) neatly packed in reusable plastic boxes. The rice comes with a cutlet, fried chilli, two salads, one white curry and your choice of meat.
They serve an assortment of teas which range between Rs 250 and Rs 275 which are served with traditional homemade Scottish Shortbread. If you would like some Shortbread (Rs 150) of your own they come in packs as do the Brownies (Rs 150). They also serve coffee, iced tea and iced coffee (Rs 100 each).
And if you’d prefer something light and refreshing you can go for their Mocktails (between Rs 400 and 750). Now on to their nibbles – They have a large and I mean, large Fish Roll (Rs 100). One of these will fill you up for sure. They also make some scrumptious and filling Cheese, Tuna and Chicken Sandwiches (Rs 150 each) while their refreshing and crunchy Cucumber Sandwich (Rs 100) is also a super treat.
Townhouse also dishes out some delicious Croissants and Sweet Pastries, so make sure to check what is on offer on the day.
