Having relocated to Palm Grove, Colombo 03, The Sandwich Factory is back, serving up delicious and comforting diner-style fare to its patrons. 

Known for its delectable range of sandwiches, burgers, wraps, hot dogs and subs, the restaurant has also introduced a few new items to the existing menu which consist of the Island Burger, the Island Chilli Burger and the Patty Melt Supreme. Plans are underway to introduce soups, salads and smoothies to the menu soon.

For regular patrons of TSF, they would know that firm favourites are the Philly Cheese Steak, Chicken Wings, Chilli Cheese Fries, Barmy Wrap, Spicy Crispy Burger (also available in paneer), New York Style Hot Dog, Quesadilla, Western BBQ Burger and the Thick Shakes. 

Slim crispy rolls deep-fried and stuffed with warm, melty cheese and a Chilli con carne (beef), the Tequitos are served with a salsa dip and stand as a good choice for a starter. 

Great for sharing with friends as a starter, the Chilli Cheese Fries are probably the ultimate comfort food item at TSF. With hot, crispy French fries slathered in gooey cheese with Chilli con carne and a salsa, they make a great snack to eat on your own too. 

The Mexicana Burger with its delightful accompaniment of avocado provides an interesting combination of flavours paired with the beef or chicken patty, and cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. 

Nothing (well, for me at least) accompanies my meal better than a Thick Shake, preferably the chocolate variant. TSF’s Thick Shakes are blended to perfection, with a good ice cream to milk ratio, and with thick chunks of cookie, make it the perfect choice of beverage. Other beverages on offer include iced tea and coffee, milkshakes, Shirley Temple, ice cream soda, and carbonated drinks. 

Furthermore, the new outlet has two playing areas for children – indoor and outdoor, whilst the garden space can be used for private events. Should you wish to host a meeting, TSF has a private room to suit the purpose. TSF also hosts monthly movie nights.
